On June 7, NJCJI President Marcus Rayner will participate in a panel discussion of New Jersey’s Truth-in-Consumer Contract, Warranty and Notice Act (TCCWNA). The Act is a growing problem for businesses operating in our state, and even out of state businesses who simply allow New Jerseyans to visit their websites.
The event, which is being co-hosted by the Association of Corporate Counsel’s New Jersey chapter and McCarter & English, LLP, will provide an overview of this unique law, discuss ways to avoid liability under it, and provide information about insurance coverage options in case a lawsuit is filed against you. Rayner will tell attendees about NJCJI’s reform efforts targeted at TCCWNA.
